Summary: The Position
The part-time temporary Program Assistant assists the Technical Theater Supervisor with operation of the facility including production logistics and coordination for facility rental clients and assigned theater events. Performs a wide variety of duties involved in preparation for performances and use of the theaters as directed by the Theater Supervisor and other senior staff.

$10.41 - $17.38 PER HOUR

Requirements And Qualifications
Schedule: The part-time, temporary, on-call Program Assistant will work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, averaging no more than 20 hours per week.

Experience: Some experience working with facilities and equipment used in theater productions or other types of event productions is highly desirable.

Knowledge Of: Basic English, basic arithmetic

Ability To: Understand and follow oral and written instructions, establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of people, and learn the principle functions of the Grand Theatre Center.

Physical Demands: This position performs strenuous physical activity for extended periods of time requiring climbing on ladders, catwalks, scaffolding and other equipment at heights up to 30 feet. The employee must be able to see and hear and must lift and carry up to 20 pounds alone.
