Responsible for keeping kennel, cat room and equipment in good condition. Relocates and cleans individual indoor and outdoor kennels and cages in cat room. |
| Description: |
Provides care for animals, including feeding and giving medications as necessary. Verifies kennel supplies are available and adequate. May assist with telephone inquiries regarding strays, relinquished animals, wild and dangerous animals and maintains accurate records of these transactions. Assigns numbers to apprehended stays, biters and relinquished animals. Updates lost and found report as necessary. May assist wardens with scanning for microchips, giving baths, or other duties. Makes sure animals are secure and safe in kennel. |

Required Skills
Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Experience working with animals preferred.
