Hours: Flex is an on-call status. There are not set hours and you are paid for time worked.

Location: May require travel within Lake County. The position is based our of Waukegan, IL.

Under the supervision and request of the Emergency Response Coordinator (ERC), assists with Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) programming, such as recruiting of medical volunteers, tracking & follow-up, training, drills, interagency facilitation and membership maintenance; works collaboratively with the Emergency Response Coordinator and other emergency management staff in the implementation of the MRC goals and objectives as directed.

Requires an Associate Degree in Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services or related field or High School Diploma with experience. With an Associate degree, requires at least two years of experience in areas of MRC training and instruction; with a High School Diploma at least six years of experience in Medical Reserve Corps. areas of training and instruction. Emergency response training as required by IDPH.
