Finance Director, Miami, FL (population 408,600).  Located between Biscayne Bay and the Florida Everglades in Southeast Florida, Miami is colorful, magnetic, diverse and exotic. It is an international crossroads and known for its range of lifestyles, high-rise skyline, exciting entertainment venues, recreational opportunities, and ethnic diversity. 

It is a full service local government and is seeking a highly professional leader and manager to take the Finance Department to the next level.  He/she will oversee the General Accounting, Treasury, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Financial Systems functions.

Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business or Public Administration.  Master's Degree preferred as is a CPA.  Additionally, applicants must possess ten (10) years of financial management experience, five (5) of which must have been in the public sector supervising professionals in finance related areas.
