The Port is now seeking an Assistant Port Attorney to provide legal services and counsel to Commissioners, managers, and staff on legal issues of the most complex, difficult, or sensitive matters.
The position of Assistant Port Attorney requires seasoned, expert legal judgment and transactional litigation skills.
Candidates for the position of Assistant Port Attorney must possess a J.D. degree from an accredited law school and at least ten years of progressively responsible experience in the practice of law. Candidates must be in members in good standing with the State Bar of California and possess a current, valid Class C driver’s license.
The salary for the Assistant Port Attorney is dependent upon qualifications and is highly competitive.
