Your Workplace Alaska session will time out after 30 minutes.
It is recommended that you prepare your cover letter in advance in Wordpad or similar text processor. When you are satisfied with it, copy it into memory and apply for the job (step #4). When you get to part 2 of the application, at the "Applicant Letter" field, simply paste in the text that was saved in memory [Ctrl-V]. This technique will speed up your application submission, and reduce the chances of a time-out. If you get timed out before submitting your application, the data you entered will be lost.
