Duties: Create, modify and maintain our Internet using Dreamweaver, Photoshop, HTML5, and Visual Studio.
Qualifications: At least two (2) year professional web development experience and a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science or a related field; five (5) years of professional web development experience and college training which equals or exceeds five years; knowledge of Graphic Design using Photoshop, Flash animation, Dreamweaver, PHP, and HTML. • Reports to the Communications Director and will be responsible for implementing web-based communications activities including development and management of website content. Strong online graphic design experience also preferred. • Position holder will produce graphics, write, edit and implement online content for website and social media outlets. • Monitor social media portals. • Track participation in and responses to City’s online and social media campaigns and make recommendations for enhancements. • Evaluate effectiveness of City’s social media strategy and recommend and implement enhancements • Two years experience with online communications, including producing web graphics, copy, email and social media outlets. • Exceptional written communication, web editing and design skills. • Technical website management skills including knowledge of HTML, CSS, Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop; knowledge of contact management software and web design tools preferred • Enthusiasm for online marketing and new media trends and opportunities. • Ability and commitment to be part of a collaborative team.
