The City of Cedar Rapids is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer I- Utility. This position develops engineering plans, designs and specifications for the City’s Engineering Division; performs related work as required.
The work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8-5.
The annual salary range for this position is $59,716.80 - $82,014.40.

| Requirements: |
- Graduation from an accredited college or univerdity with a Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering ; and
- Considerable experience in public works project engineering design and construction; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer issued by the State of Iowa or if issued by another state, the ability to obtain within 6 months.
