Job Description

This is a summer internship working in the Administration Department of the Lake County Division of Transportation. This position will perform some basic duties such as accounts payable, receivables and budgeting. This position will also work with the Safety Coordinator on training and safety compliance.

Required Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of general accounting or safety
• Ability and willingness to learn accounting and/or safety tasks and procedures
• Ability and willingness to learn in-house software

Required Experience

College level course work in Accounting, Finance or Safety; Possession of a valid Illinois Drivers License
