PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform skilled tasks related to the maintenance and repair of roads, drainage structures, water lines, and sewer lines, including manholes, valves, fire hydrants, meters, cleanouts, and lift stations; Operate a variety of equipment such as backhoes, front end loaders, jet-vac trucks, the Gradall, skid steer loaders, dump trucks, vacuum excavators, air compressors, pneumatic and hand tools, and various other equipment required to repair and maintain infrastructure.
TYPICAL WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Must be available for after-hours duty in cases of emergencies. |
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED required. Three years of general construction or heavy equipment operations experience required. Possession of a valid Texas Class C driver's license. Possession of or ability to obtain within three months of employment, a valid Texas Class B commercial driver’s license.
HIRING RANGE: $15.07 - $17.72 per hour, depending on qualifications
