Under general direction, the position supervises and manages the City maintenance activities in facilities, roads or utilities. Employees in this classification perform supervisory and managerial work. Position is responsible for managing maintenance activities and performing maintenance activities for sewers, street and roads, public buildings, medians, and storm water. Performs related work as directed.

Qualification Requirements:

High school diploma or GED; Minimum four (4) years progressively more responsible previous experience and/or training that includes municipal utilities, public works maintenance; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Special Requirements:

• Florida Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class "B"
• Right of way or Ornamental and Turf Licenses
• Current certification in all of the following or ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire

a.) Confined Space Entry

b.) Trenching and Shoring

c.) Traffic Control Management 

d.) CPR/First Aid
