The City of Pittsburg Kansas is seeking qualified candidates for the Assistant Director of Finance. This position oversees all aspects of the accounting division, including the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cash management, fixed assets, grants accounting, and special assessments. This position also prepares all financial reports.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and three to five years of accounting experience to include supervisory experience in financial and accounting administration required. Experience with governmental accounting and CAFR processes preferred.
