The City of Plainfield is seeking a Chief Financial Officer.

Responsible for the financial management activities of a local municipality with a current budget of 74 million dollars.

BA/BS in accounting is desirable; New Jersey Certified Municipal Finance Officer certification issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs is required. Must have at least five years of local government financial management experience, knowledge of Edmunds Accounting System and supervisory experience. The City has a residency ordinance and as such residency may be required.
