Lake County is seeking an individual who will conduct research, write and edit content for communication materials such as e-newsletters, monitor and interpret analytics to develop strategies and tactics to more effectively deliver messages and interact with elected officials.
This candidate will need to possess excellent written and oral communication skills to be able to interact with managers, elected officials, clients, customers and the general public. They will be responsible for researching and developing content for a variety of communication tools, so a strong attention for detail and editing is a must. In order to be successful in this position you must be able to prioritize multiple work projects effectively and meet deadlines.
Candidates will need to complete a writing test and submit writing examples.
Bachelor’s Degree required. 2-3 year’s experience in public relations, journalism, and/or communications preferred. Experience with graphic design.
