Summary:

The City of Phoenix is Arizona’s capital and the sixth largest city in the United States, with more than 1.4 million residents within 519 square miles. The City is now seeking a Chief Innovation Executive to focus on innovation, government efficiency, and implementing best practices in Phoenix.

Description:

The main responsibility of the Chief Innovation Executive is to analyze Phoenix’s government and other government agencies, private sector companies, and non-profit agencies to identify effective systems and technologies that can be adapted to Phoenix’s organization.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess ten years of senior business management experience with demonstrated success in organizational innovation, as well as a bachelor’s degree in a related field; a master’s degree is highly desirable. Strong candidates will possess experience in building innovation capacities and innovation resources, as well as a track record of creating breakthrough strategies and finding opportunities for innovation to bring and accelerate change to organizations.

Special Instructions:
