CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER I (FULL-TIME) - JOB DESCRIPTION - Application Deadline: Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 4:00 p.m.

The Town of Bloomsburg has a full time position in the Code Enforcement Office for a Code Enforcement Officer I. This position assists in administering and enforcing the provisions of codes and/or ordinances of the Town of Bloomsburg. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred, however, relevant experience is an acceptable substitute.   Minimum of three years in local government dealing with building, municipal codes, as well as federal, state and local regulations is imperative. The successful candidate will have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and the public, and have a valid PA driver’s license. This position is salaried and comes with a generous benefits package. Knowledge and skills usually acquired through education / training in municipal codes administration work. At least a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
