The Telecommunicators work in the 911 center and receive emergency calls, obtain information, dispatch emergency and non-emergency service providers, and monitor alarm systems.
High school diploma or G.E.D., proficiency with data entry, clear and concise speech, composure under stress, legible handwriting and strong attendance record required.
Post offer requirements include successful completion of background check, physical exam, psychological exam and drug screen.
