A new position, the Community Planning & Building Director will be responsible for all land use, environmental quality, zoning, design, building, and code compliance activities. In addition, the Director will also provide support for the Planning Commission and Historic Resources Board. The ideal candidate will be a visionary planning professional with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A background in architectural design and coastal experience is desirable. A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s degree and/or AICP certification is preferred.
