The City of West Hollywood, “The Creative City,” is located in the heart of Los Angeles and has a current population of 34,000. The City is currently seeking a Rent Stabilization and Housing Manager.
The Rent Stabilization and Housing Division’s goal is the preservation and improvement of the existing housing infrastructure, fair regulation of the Rent Stabilization Ordinance for both landlords and tenants, and the creation of new market-rate and affordable housing. An individual who is committed to excellent and responsive customer service, personal and professional development, and the provision of community education would do well in this position.
Any combination of education and experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position would be qualifying; typical candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years’ progressively responsible, related experience. Candidates possessing a master’s degree are desirable.
The salary range for the Rent Stabilization and Housing Manager is $120,860.27-$154,434.18 annually; placement within the range is dependent upon qualifications.
