The Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center for Public Management is dedicated to improving the effectiveness of government. It serves all levels of government, with special emphasis on Massachusetts State and local governments. The Center concentrates on the people, performance, and productivity of government. Established in July 2008, the Center is located within the John W. McCormack Graduate School of Policy Studies at UMass Boston.
