Justice-related court services- DMH provides an array of assessment and linkage services at courts throughout Los Angeles County, focused on diverting incarcerated adults away from the justice system and into an array of non-institutional mental health services. 4. Specialized Foster Care services- DMH operates specialized assessment and treatment services for children and families in foster care, including multidisciplinary treatment planning. These services are coordinated and delivered in community settings across the county and in coordination with the Department of Children and Family Services.
