Salary: $48,526.40 - $85,030.40 Annually

Performs technical duties related to the support of computer and network hardware and software users.
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Working Conditions: May work shifts on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
Provides technical customer service for hardware and software support of applications and enterprise solutions. Provides hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance. Installs and configures computer hardware, software and peripheral equipment. Install, configures and maintains telecommunications infrastructure. Provides documentation, training, and guidance to users. Performs appropriate upgrades to hardware and software. Serves as a resource for technical assistance in regards to system issues. Recommends system improvements and/or enhancements. Researches and keeps current on new products, methods, and techniques.
Education and Work Experience: Equivalent to two (2) years of full-time formal coursework in information systems and two (2) years of full-time demonstrated experience in support computer hardware and software systems.
Licensing and Certification: Must possess and maintain a valid Class C Driver's License.
Background Investigation: Employment with the Regional Transportation Commission in this position is contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation, including qualifying education/experience verification and a criminal history records review.
