Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail.As a Security Officer— Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalated in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-4:00PM ON CALL AS NEEDEDCompetitive hourly wage starting at $22.00/ Hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options (depending on how many hours worked and per contract)Career growth opportunities at GardaWorldUniform provided at no costResponsibilities of Surveillance Security GuardPatrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activityVerify identities and control access to secure areasReact quickly to threats or incidentsCheck the proper functioning of alarms and camerasDocument incidents and actions takenRespond to alarms and conduct on-site checksCollaborate with law enforcement during serious incidentsEnsure the safety and protection of individuals and propertyQualifications of Surveillance Security GuardYou have a high school education or equivalent (GED)You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening processYou have Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 2 years or moreYou have an active Virginia DCJS security licenseYou are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirementsMust have experience utilizing Microsoft applications or Google applications, and Security Systems.
