Remote Sensing Technician – DOD SkillBridge Transitioning Service MembersWe are currently seeking a Remote Sensing Technician – DOD SkillBridge Transitioning Service Members to be part of our Geospatial Division in our Hunstville, Alabama & West Palm Beach, Florida offices.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Remote Sensing Technician is responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and managing remotely sensed data. Technicians will work with various types of imagery and sensor data, ensuring data quality and contributing to the extraction of valuable information.Plan, collect, and process remotely sensed geospatial data.Analyze and interpret sensor data.Ensure data quality and accuracy.Extract actionable information from imagery.EligibilityDOD SkillBridge Transitioning Service Members only.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over the sponsorship of employment visas.Physical DemandsThe physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work is performed in a field setting. Hand‑eye coordination is necessary to operate a sensor, computer, keyboard and mouse. Use of a telephone headset will allow for virtual communication with team members through Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams.
