Summary
The TEMPEST Security Specialist assists the Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) in the formal affirmation that government facilities and customer sponsored contractor facilities where SCI is electronically processed meet the security requirements of applicable TEMPEST policies efficiently and cost effectively. The TEMPEST engineer will product TSS deliverables. Shall review TEMPEST testing, TEMPEST worksheets, Red and Black Installation/ Separation and Protective Distribution System (PDS) packages to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Shall create Site Survey Reports and SOCOMM message for customer approval and release. Record the documents and task closure in customer database. The TEMPEST engineer will conduct ad hoc testing using equipment from the Government's TEMPEST inventory. Product an Ad Hoc TEMPEST report, with descriptions of any anomalies, concerns, or discoveries.
