Job Title: Fire Protection / Alarm TechnicianLocation: Golden, CO (On-site)Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMPay Range: $25 – $46 per hourPosition Overview We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection / Alarm Technician to support inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire life safety systems within a large facility environment. This role is part of a collaborative maintenance team and is critical to ensuring systems remain compliant, reliable, and fully operational.The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both team members and customers.Key Responsibilities Perform inspection, testing, service, and troubleshooting of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishersExecute preventive maintenance programs to ensure system reliability and complianceComplete service calls, minor repairs, and assist with system installationsMaintain accurate and timely work orders, reports, and documentationLearn and support fire protection control systems for ongoing service needsCommunicate professionally with customers and provide clear follow-up on work performedParticipate in after-hours emergency on-call rotationSupport additional maintenance tasks as neededRequired Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; trade school training preferredNICET Fire Alarm Systems Certification (Level II) requiredWorking knowledge of NFPA standards (NFPA 72, 92, 25, 20, 291)Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicleStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read technical documents, safety procedures, and system manualsEffective written and verbal communication skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularlyCapability to perform hands-on work in a facility environmentPreferred Qualifications Backflow certificationExperience working in large commercial or industrial facilitiesAdditional Details Must be 21 years of age or olderParticipation in on-call rotation requiredOpportunity to work within a collaborative, safety-focused team environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
