In this role, you will help ensure real-time visibility into system performance through enterprise monitoring, alerting, data collection, and bring innovative ideas.A typical day in this role may include:Providing real-time system monitoring, alerting, and system data collection for all infrastructure services; works with client/server and back-end systems owners to define appropriate monitoring system usage, data collection, and alert thresholdsProviding technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Engineering area of responsibilityGuiding the successful completion of design and development activities for enterprise Infrastructure/Network Monitoring (Linux, Windows), Application, SNMP, and Log Monitoring and may function in a project leadership roleEnsuring monitoring solution reports required data up-stream to the enterprise monitor-of-monitors platform and to the systems data analytics platformInteracting with the government on Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts; communicate with other program personnel, government leadershipParticipating in the team's service delivery includes weekly reporting, requirements development, and direct customer collaboration in providing a roadmap toward emerging technologiesReviewing and analyzing business and system requirements and specifications for systems monitoring tool protocols and future tool usageAssists with other Enterprise Monitoring efforts across the program and client portfolioRequirements Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraphMust meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA SecurityBachelor's degree in a related technical discipline and 10+ years' experience, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experienceFamiliarity with existing EM technologies (e.g., SolarWinds or Splunk) and ability to learn more complex platforms (e.g., Cisco AppDynamics)Experience with API integrations and processesAbility to support the Authority to Operate (ATO) process, including system certification and accreditationStrong foundational understanding of Windows Server Administration (e.g., managing, configuring, and troubleshooting)Preferred Experience with, or willingness to train in, Netscout nGeniusONE#J-18808-Ljbffr
