You will build and maintain enterprise monitoring solutions that identify issues before they impact operations, ensure accurate system health reporting, and strengthen the resilience of core IT services. Your work directly enhances system reliability, cybersecurity posture, and rapid response to events across diverse networks and platforms.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAdminister, maintain, and optimize enterprise monitoring platforms, including event management, performance monitoring, log aggregation, and alerting systemsDevelop and enhance dashboards, alerting rules, data collection policies, telemetry baselines, and automation workflows to increase accuracy and operational visibilityMonitor and analyze system performance trends across servers, applications, network devices, and cloud/on-prem infrastructure to proactively identify degradation or riskImplement secure configuration baselines, system hardening standards, and STIG aligned controls for monitoring infrastructure, agents, and data collection componentsExecute timely patching, firmware updates, and security fixes for monitoring platforms using approved deployment and compliance technologiesReview vulnerability and compliance scan results, identify noncompliant monitoring systems, determine root causes, and coordinate remediation actions with stakeholdersTrack and apply approved security directives, task orders, and vulnerability notifications that affect monitoring servers, collectors, and log/data ingestion pathsProvide Tier 3 troubleshooting and escalation support for complex monitoring issues including ingestion failures, alert anomalies, data latency, and performance discrepanciesCollaborate with engineering, network, cybersecurity, and operations teams to onboard new systems, validate secure architectures, and support accreditation requirementsMaintain detailed documentation of monitoring configurations, patch schedules, alerting policies, workflows, and procedures to support audit readiness and change controlWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEEDEDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degreeCERTIFICATION: Meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, etc.)ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 or IT Service Management (ITSM)CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraphHands-on experience with enterprise monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, ELK/Elastic, Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Nagios, Zabbix, or comparable tools)Strong understanding of system performance metrics, log ingestion, event correlation, and infrastructure monitoring best practicesExperience with patch management, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reporting for enterprise software or monitoring systemsStrong analytical, communication, and documentation skills with the ability to interpret complex data trends and work across teamsUS citizenship requiredLOCATION: OnsiteBENEFITSComprehensive benefits and wellness packages, 401K with company match, and competitive pay and paid time off.#CIS#CIS#J-18808-Ljbffr
