Adecco is currently seeking a Loss Prevention and Safety Agent (LPA) for a premier client in Shafter, CA. This role is ideal for individuals interested in building a long-term career in safety, security, and loss prevention. The LPA is responsible for ensuring the safety of all associates and protecting company assets while maintaining a professional and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Loss Prevention and Safety Associate, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Greet visitors, associates, and contractors while enforcing required safety protocols
Maintain site security and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Manage access control at facility entry points with professionalism and confidentiality
Conduct routine safety audits, identify risks, and communicate findings
Monitor the facility for hazards and unsafe conditions
Respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and report findings to stakeholders
Support theft prevention initiatives and asset protection measures
Operate and maintain security systems including CCTV, access control, and radio communication
Prepare and send reports and correspondence through various communication channels
Assist during emergency situations and coordinate with local Police and Fire officials
Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, instant messaging, and ability to learn new systems
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to effectively interact with visitors, contractors, leadership, and staff
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to de-escalate and resolve conflicts
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to confidentiality
Ability to analyze situations and ensure compliance with safety standards
Schedule
Rotating schedule including weekends and holidays
Flexibility to work alternative shifts based on business needs
Immediate openings available on 2nd Shift 2:30 PM-11 :00 PM
Compensation & Benefits
Weekly pay starting at $21.38 per hour
Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
Long-term opportunity with potential for full-time hire after 90 days
Pay Details: $19.39 to $21.39 per hour
