We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team and help us deliver exceptional results for federal clients. Key Responsibilities: Lead the charge on financial system implementations and modernization projects, leveraging your deep expertise in the Momentum Financial System and federal budgeting processes. Collaborate with government stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners to translate complex business needs into functional system solutions that drive real-world impact. Develop and lead requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews, ensuring that business needs are accurately captured and translated into functional requirements, process flows, and design specifications. Drive the development of functional design documentation and use cases, ensuring that system configurations and integrations are accurately translated into functional requirements. Provide subject matter expertise on federal budgeting, funds management, and financial processes, ensuring that solutions align with best practices and regulatory requirements. Support solution design, configuration decisions, and system testing, ensuring that solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Assist with business process analysis and reengineering, ensuring that system capabilities are fully leveraged to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness. Provide guidance during system implementation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment, ensuring that solutions are successfully delivered and adopted by end-users. Support client engagement and stakeholder management, ensuring that alignment on functional requirements and system design is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications: Five years demonstrated experience working with the Momentum Financial System. Strong knowledge of federal financial management and budgeting processes. Proven experience leading requirements gathering and functional design activities. Experience facilitating working sessions and stakeholder discussions with government clients. Ability to develop functional documentation, requirements artifacts, and process flows. Strong communication and collaboration skills with both functional and technical teams. Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting Momentum implementations or upgrades. Knowledge of federal budget execution, funds control, and financial reporting processes. Knowledge of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle. Familiarity with financial system integrations.
