Open to other remote locations.Salary: SkillBridge Internship (No pay).Summary Responsible for providing consulting support to the Government Consulting Services Center of Excellence. Support may include developing study methodologies, data collection and analysis, researching, writing reports, and other assigned tasks.Essential Functions Research assigned areas and write formal/informal reports.Support continuous process improvement and business process reengineering projects through process mapping, data collection, analysis, and visualization.Support project execution – preparing reports, technical documents, presentations, and contributing to deliverables.Plan, organize, and lead virtual and in‑person engagements with stakeholders.Meet with clients to present results, resolve issues, answer questions, and maintain good relations.Project management assistance – budgeting, scheduling, organizing teams, prioritizing projects, quality assurance, invoicing.Support proposal development by providing content for approach, schedule, or other sections.Competencies Familiarity with DoD organization and structure, with detailed knowledge of one or more military services.Gather input from stakeholders to incorporate perspectives into recommendations.Collect and organize information from databases, scanned documents, surveys, and customer feedback.Use statistical analysis, simulations, predictive modeling, or other quantitative methods.Write memos, reports, and presentations explaining findings and recommendations.Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Willingness to travel to project sites and other offices.Preferred knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization and automation tools.Education and Experience Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, operations research, data science, or related field.Minimum four years of work‑related experience, preferably in engineering, public works, installation management, construction management, logistics, or base operating support.Valid driver's license and successful MVR screening.Other duties: This job description is not exhaustive; duties may change at any time.Physical Demands: Sit regularly; use hands; reach; occasionally stand, walk, stoop; lift up to 10 pounds; moderate noise level.Matrix Design Group, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
