Summary
As a Correctional Intelligence Officer at the Miami Correctional Facility, you will work with a small team of Investigators and Intelligence Analysts in an Indiana Department of Correction facility. A Correctional Intelligence Officer helps contribute to the safety and security of the facility by investigating incidents related to the correctional facility, including but not limited to misconduct by incarcerated individuals or staff, illegal activity by visitors and volunteers, and policy violations, to name a few. A typical day for a Correctional Investigator includes reviewing Digital Video footage, monitoring phone calls, and investigating incidents. Correctional Investigators typically work 8-hour days Monday through Friday and respond to the facility after hours for significant incidents. Salary Statement: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $47,320.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
