Training presentations may be conducted in-person, and occasionally on a weekend.Work LocationThis is a field-based position covering the Northern Ohio/Southeastern Michigan, and working out of your home office in the great Toledo, OH area territory.Responsibilities & Qualifications3+ years of experience in safety, loss control or related fieldDemonstrates independence by servicing large/complex accounts of various classes of business with little guidance and shows the ability to successfully address and reduce loss driversDemonstrates a willingness to coach and mentor co-workers, take on advanced projects, engage with internal and external peers to solve problems, attend professional development conferences and/or is involved with professional associations to expand their networkPrevious experience working for/with a multi-line insurance carrierProficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPointProven interpersonal, presentation, marketing, oral and written communication skillsProblem solving, critical thinking, active listening, negotiation and decision-making skillsValid driver's license requiredPreferred Education and TrainingBachelor's degree in Loss Control, Risk Management, Safety, Insurance or related fieldDesignation in safety, health or insurance (CSP, ASP, ARM, CRM, CIC, CPCU, etc.)Salary StatementThe salary range for this position is $67,000 - $110,000. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
