Summary
Serves as the tax administrator for the Township Treasurer. Responsible for the accounting of the tax collection accounts and preparation of all disbursements for taxes. Prepares the settlement with the County Treasurer. Handles the recordkeeping for all Letters of Credit held by the Township. When serving as Deputy Treasurer, acts as chief assistant to the Township Treasurer and assists in managing the staff and operations of the Treasurer's office.Associate's degree in business with substantial accounting and finance course work. Bachelor's degree preferred.Familiarity in the use of computers required. (Must be proficient with use of Excel)Five or more years' experience within a Township/Municipal Finance or Treasurer's office providing substantial experience in government accounting.Experience with BS&A software highly preferred.Certified Public Finance Administrator (CPFA) desirable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
