    Senior Calibration Technician

    Raytheon Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is looking for an experienced Senior Calibration Technician candidate to support our team based out of Aurora, CO. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing calibration, verification, maintenance, and troubleshooting support on Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). The qualified candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team that is dedicated to high performance; focused on the support and maintenance of various TMDE assets on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract. Our Sr. Calibration Technician is a key contact for customers who need assistance in resolving technical issues, and communicates on TMDE status, analysis, and solutions while building positive, trusting relationships.

    What You Will Do:

    • Calibrate laboratory working standards and customer TMDE using manual and Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
    • Use TMDE to perform voltage, frequency, current, resistance, impedance, power, LF/RF/microwave frequency, temperature, physical/dimensional, and fiber optic measurements in a calibration laboratory environment
    • Overhaul, modify, repair, and certify TMDE using electronic theory and advanced principles of metrology
    • Process Return to Vendor (RTV) paperwork and documents for TMDE calibration and repair beyond lab capability and higher-level certification
    • Maintain TMDE recall database and enter appropriate information as required for records keeping and traceability
    • Research required technical information and order required parts using appropriate procurement systems
    • Interact with system engineers and customers, provide technical guidance where required
    • 100% onsite full time based in Aurora, CO

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Typically requires bachelor's and minimum of 2+ years of relevant prior experience
    • Must have experience in a calibration laboratory environment
    • Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
