    Las Vegas, NV / Full-time / On-sitePosition SummaryGlobal C2 Integration Technologies is seeking a Test Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the operational and technical authority supporting integration, verification, and formal testing of Air Defense Command and Control (C2) systems.This role bridges real-world operational experience with system-level test execution. The Test SME develops and executes realistic, mission-representative scenarios to validate system performance, interoperability, and readiness. Leveraging expertise in weapons employment, surveillance, and Tactical Data Links (TDL), the SME ensures C2 systems function effectively under operational conditions and are ready for fielding. This position is contingent based on award of contract.Responsibilities:Develop, plan, and execute test procedures supporting system integration, verification, and acceptance events (FQT, SAT, and related activities).Design and implement realistic, scalable test scenarios that reflect Air Defense operational environments.Evaluate system performance against operational requirements, including engagement timelines, surveillance workflows, and battle management processes.Conduct hands-on test execution in both live and simulated environments.Document test results, discrepancies, and performance limitations for formal reporting and corrective action.Develop and integrate Modeling & Simulation (M&S) scenarios that replicate real-world operational complexity.Incorporate weapons employment logic, track management behavior, and data link operations into test events.Assess system performance across sensor fusion, engagement operations, and network-enabled C2 workflows.Validate interoperability and data exchange across Tactical Data Link architectures (e.g., Link 16).Analyze track management performance and data flow accuracy within distributed environments.Support system configuration, installation, and integration in Windows and Linux environments.Identify and troubleshoot integration issues affecting system performance, interoperability, or data integrity.Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve discrepancies and improve system functionality.Support verification planning, including traceability and validation against requirements.Assist with customer demonstrations, test events, and system fielding activities.Contribute to development of training materials and operational lessons learned derived from test activities.Requirements:Minimum of seven (7) years of operational C2 experience in Air Defense environments.Demonstrated experience supporting system integration, verification, or operational testing within DoD or mission system environments.Experience developing and executing test strategies, plans, and procedures for complex systems.Operational experience in: Weapons employment / battle managementSurveillance and track managementWorking knowledge of Tactical Data Link architectures and employment concepts.Experience developing realistic scenarios in Modeling & Simulation (M&S) or distributed environments.Strong understanding of C2 principles and joint interoperability.Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain)Desired Qualifications:Former Air Battle Manager (13B), C2 Battle Management (1C5), or service equivalent (e.g., Weapons Director, Interface Control Technician).Experience with distributed C2 training and simulation architectures.Familiarity with systems such as: Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI)Advanced Simulation Combat Operations Trainer (ASCOT)Battlespace Command and Control Center (BC3)Experience supporting formal DoD test programs (FQT, SAT, etc.).Operational-level planning experience.Knowledge of DoD systems engineering processes, including requirements traceability and verificationPHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
