This includes cities, counties, villages, townships and schools.What will you be doing?The Auditor of State Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is comprised of Forensic Accountants, Investigators and Attorneys as a single source of expertise for investigating fraud in government. Their experience allows them to take a case from an initial complaint through conclusion.ResponsibilitiesServe as Special Prosecutor when requested by county prosecutor, present cases to Grand Juries, prepare discovery, attend pretrial conferences and motions hearings, interview trial witnesses, and prepare case for trial.Provide legal and investigative advice to SIU staff.
