    Job LocationFort Worth, TXPosition TypeFull-Time/RegularHow will this role impact First Command?The Supervision and Surveillance Intern will support the Supervision team through reporting, systems support, and data analysis. This role provides exposure to financial services supervision processes, reporting frameworks, and cross‑functional collaboration. The intern will develop skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), data analysis, and problem‑solving while working under guidance from experienced team members. This is a collaborative role that offers hands‑on experience and the opportunity to learn how Supervision supports business and regulatory objectives.What will the employee do in this role?Assist with preparation and maintenance of Supervision reporting, which will be reviewed by Supervision Principals, First Command Leadership; to include the SLT, ELT and Supervision Leadership in order to provide insight on Field and Home Office activity.Support ad hoc reporting and data analysis for use by Supervision Principals and Supervision leadershipProvide feedback and recommendations to Supervision Leadership for decisions regarding capacity and productivity.Support coordination between Supervision and our internal business partners to communicate and assist with the resolution of outstanding issues; business partners include BIS, Financial Planning, Compliance, Transfer Agency, Insurance Operations, Product Management and Advisor Operations.Help respond to internal inquiries (under supervision)Participate in team meetings to gain exposure to Supervision processes and initiativesAssist with system testing, data validation, or process improvement effortsAssist in tracking and updating documentation for policies and proceduresInteract with Internal and external business partners on behalf of the Supervision Principals when needed, which includes answering inbound calls and responding to emails.Learn about Written Supervisory Procedures (WSP), Compliance Manual (CM), and core controlsPerform other duties and special projects as assignedShadow team members during cross-functional interactionsParticipate in training sessions and learning development opportunitiesWhat skills & qualifications do you need?Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related fieldStrong academic record preferredInterest in financial services, compliance, or data analysisBasic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferredExperience with data, reporting, or analysis through coursework or projects is a plusRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDemonstrates strong attention to detail and willingness to learnAble to work both independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively within a team environmentOrganized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsPositive attitude and eagerness to develop skills in data analysis and reportingBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Interest in learning financial services systems, processes, and controls#J-18808-Ljbffr
