    About the Role Enfield Council is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Access to Information Co‑ordinator to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in coordinating and quality‑assuring the handling of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, working to ensure responses are timely, accurate, and reflective of Enfield Council's commitment to openness and accountability. The current priority for the role is to support the council in meeting its statutory responsibilities and improving the overall customer experience.Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate FOI requestsProvide clear and concise written responses and ensure they meet organisational standardsMonitor performance against deadlines and escalation of any delaysProvide advice and support to council staff on FOI and Data Protection complianceIdentify and manage reputational risks, working closely with the Press Office on contentious issuesWhat We're Looking For Essential Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to convey complex issues clearlyProven experience of working in an FOI roleKnowledge of FOI legislationExcellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlinesStrong analytical skills and attention to detailCompetence in using standard IT softwareRisk awareness and political sensitivityDesirable Experience with CRM systems or FOI/information request tracking toolsKnowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)This is a hybrid role with an expectation of office attendance at the Enfield Civic Centre currently once per week.#J-18808-Ljbffr
