    SME Open-Source AnalystOverview of the PositionECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking a SME Open-Source Analyst to provide supportive services for our government client.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site support to participate in daily operations, ensuring continuous collaboration with leadership.Participate in establishment activities, security threat assessments and other vetting activities as needed.Analyze the deep web using information technology tools to identify and assess transportation-related links and networks.Conduct all-source intelligence analysis and produce written reports aligned with Intelligence Community Directives and standards.Support and engage with the government watch listing process, contributing to data entry, review, and coordination activities.Leverage big data tools to conduct network analysis and uncover patterns in large datasets.Gather and analyze data from publicly available social media and other non-traditional sources to support intelligence assessments.Develop and deliver written assessments, visualizations, source documentation, and briefings independently in response to taskings.Minimum QualificationsMust be a US Citizen.Bachelor's degree required in related field of study; Master's Degree preferred.Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.Written and verbal communication skills, to include presentation development for senior ranking Government officials.Previous exposure to or experience with some or all the relevant analytic tools such as Analyst's Notebook, or other open source or commercially deployed network mapping and correlation tools.Experience working closely with, or in, government organizations.Must have 10 or more years of experience in the above list of responsibilities.Preferred Qualifications10 years of watchlisting experience.Primary work locationOn-site / Annapolis Junction, MDTravel ExpectationsNot requiredPosition TypeSalaried positionBenefitsHealth Coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)Life Insurance15 days of paid time off (PTO) annually, increasing with tenure11 Paid Federal HolidaysFlexible SchedulingProfessional Development401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)EEO Employer/Protected Veteran/Disabled.Ecompex is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
