    Job Description As a Technician in our Bridge Program, you will be responsible for performing complex engineering duties within various office engineering specialties.Office/Bureau: Project Development - Bridge ProgramSalary: $22.08 - $30.89 per hour (Salary Schedule). Salary includes a 2.5% stipend.Opening Date: May 20, 2026 Closing Date: June 4, 2026Responsibilities Drafting and reviewing plansQuantity and cost estimatingDevelopment of specificationsAssembly of the final contract documents for bridge projectsQualifications Five (5) years of experience in engineering – or an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in engineeringBachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and one (1) year of experience in engineeringEqual Opportunity Statement As an Equal Opportunity employer, Maine State Government embraces a culture of respect and awareness.
