PSA Engineer – DTS (Dispatcher Training Simulator)Location: Seattle, WA (100% Remote; occasional travel may be required)Pay Range: $55-60/hrJob Description:Administer, configure, and optimize Energy Management Systems (EMS), preferably GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21) or equivalent platforms (Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider).Work extensively with Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) including model validation and event creation.Perform enhancement, defect fixing, and break/fix support across EMS / ADMS / SCADA environments.Implement and support Power System Applications such as Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Forecasting, and AGC.Handle simulated environments including RTU, IED, Console, and related integrations.Work with communication protocols: ICCP, IEC, DNP3, Modbus.Manage and troubleshoot EMS environments on Linux and Windows OS.Use Oracle / SQL Server databases, SQL queries, shell scripting, and log/debug analysis for issue resolution.Install patches and fixes on live production systems with minimal disruption.Participate in code review, deployment, testing, and monitoring of EMS/DTS fixes.Utilize testing and defect management tools such as QTest and GRIP.Required Skills & Experience:5–8 years of experience in Power System Applications and DTS/EMS.Strong experience in EMS platforms and electrical transmission modeling.Programming/scripting experience: C, C++, PERL, SQL, Shell scripting.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.EEO EmployerDiversity, Equality, and Inclusivity – This means a deep commitment to each other equally, in an open, diversified team environment.
