Job DescriptionWith direct supervision from Manager, ICT + Security Group or senior staff, provide design for telecommunications, LAN, CCTV, fire alarm, access control, and wireless LAN for new construction and/or renovation of industrial or commercial structures in conformance to client requirements and applicable codes.Essential Job FunctionsPossess / demonstrate the engineering knowledge and understanding to design or analyze data, telecommunication, fire alarm and security systems for the design and installation of data, telecommunications, fire alarm and security systems/networks using applicable BICSI, ANSI/TIA/EIA guidelines and NFPA 72.Prepare working drawings for construction on CAD system and provide CAD support to more senior staff.Communicate and work with all other disciplines to produce coordinated construction documents.Conduct field measuring and checking at project site.Maintain organized project file containing project calculations, correspondence, appropriate reference materials, etc.With assistance, edit project specifications.Review project submittals (shop drawings) for conformance with contract documents; specify action required for conformance.Perform related duties as assigned.Employment QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or related field, electronic engineering, information technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.2-6 years related experience in data, telecommunication, fire alarm and security engineering field.Revit proficiency required.RCDD preferred.Additional Skills:Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel and MS Word, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and BIM360.BenefitsWe offer a robust benefits package designed to support your overall wellbeing.
