Discover your future with us.InterFuze is seeking a Technical Writer SME supporting the Training & Integration division located at Aberdeen Proving Ground in MD.This position is only open to candidates residing in Alabama (AL), North Carolina (NC), Maryland (MD), Colorado (CO), Florida (FL), Texas (TX), and Virginia (VA) at the time of hire.The selected candidate will perform the following responsibilities:Advises, manages, and mentors personnel assigned to the technical documentation function.Interfaces with engineers and technical professionals in writing, editing, and publishing various types of documents (e.g., test plans, test reports, survey reports).Oversees in-house production flow of technical publications.Tracks and monitors the flow of all documents from inception to the distribution of final copies.Identifies and corrects problem areas as they arise.Provides final quality assurance check for all document deliverables.Participates in department and company-wide proposal writing projects.Often serves as proposal coordinator for large production efforts.Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.Plans and leads major technology assignments.Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.May supervise others.Qualifications:Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited academic institution or military school in English or Journalism.Minimum of six (6) years of professional technical writing experience producing technical documentation on programs supporting projects of similar scope and complexity to this requirement.Additional Qualifications:This position requires the ability to obtain and/or maintain an active U.S. security clearance upon hire date, which requires U.S. citizenship.InterFuze Corporation and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
