Summary

Manages and coordinates the City Human Resources (HR) programs; provides advice and counsel to team members for the resolution of HR issues, and assures compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations, and City goals and policies.

The City of Rosemead offers an excellent benefits package which includes a monthly benefit allowance of $1,700 per month for use towards enrolling in any of the City offered health plans, dental plans, and vision plans. Any unused remainder can be put in a deferred compensation plan, or taken as cash, but must first show proof of health insurance coverage through another source. Job Requirements

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or Public Administration; AND four years public sector Human Resources management experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
 
Required Licenses or Certifications:

  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain an appropriate California Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.
