ABOUT THE POSITION
Performs or assists in the less complex human resources work involving analytical studies, staff recruitment, maintenance of the classification and salary plan, and perform related duties as assigned. There is currently one position available.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Administers assigned functions, such as recruitment, classification review, compensation studies, employment analysis, leave and benefit administration.
Collects and analyzes data.
Tracks trends and development in assigned functional areas.
Conducts studies, performs research and prepares reports.
Trains employees on various topics.
Reviews, interprets and recommend policies.
Participates in working groups and committees.
Manages special projects.
Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.

A skills examination may be administered to those candidates meeting the minimum qualifications. A qualifications appraisal interview will be used to assess the candidate's knowledge, skills and training experience. The Director of Human Resources will make the final selection and appointment.
