Duties Description The Regional Trail Crew Leader is a full time, long-term seasonal position that will assist the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation in the management of some of the most diverse and popular trails across our State Parks system. Job Description and Duties SENIOR PARK AIDE (SEASONAL) - MONTEREY DISTRICT / BIG SUR SECTOR Priority consideration will be given to any person receiving State public assistance under the CalWORKs program. Applicants who receive State public assistance need to identify their status as a CalWORKs recipient in the comments area on the application. The Senior Park Aide assigned to Big Sur Sector, Monterey District works under the supervision of the State Park Peace Officer (Ranger). The Big Sur Sector includes Pt. Sur State Historic Park, Andrew Molera State Park, Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, and Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. Primary responsibilities of this position include kiosk office/administrative duties, accounting, administration, leading kiosk staff, inventory tracking, photocopies, public information, collection and processing of park fees, Report of Collections preparations, attendance, Reserve California paperwork, camper registration, and customer service. Willingness to: Work on weekends, holidays and irregular hours, work day shift and swing shift, and under adverse weather conditions; conform to departmental uniform requirements; maintain positive professional interpersonal relationships with coworkers.
