Job Description and Duties Under the general supervision of the Chief, Office of Federal Programs, the Emergency Relief (ER) Program Manager works with cities, counties, transportation planning agencies, districts, other headquarters units, the California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Description The Modesto Irrigation District is currently recruiting to fill one full-time vacancy of a Senior Civil Engineer in the Civil Engineering Department within the Water Operations Division. The role of the Senior Civil Engineer position is to act in responsible charge, to organize, assign, and review the work of assigned personnel engaged in professional and technical civil engineering activities related to open-channel hydraulics, hydrology, drainage, water quality and groundwater; to perform duties requiring specialized knowledge; and to provide administrative support to assigned supervisor.
