Represent the department at meetings and community events to promote participation in programs or to meet project goals. Assist with planning and conducting community based and other events and programs, to include logistics, scheduling speakers, set up and break down, and other event details as needed. Write articles for City Talk and prepare fliers and other written communication to promote programs and special projects. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Psychology, Social Services, Health Care, a related field of equivalent. Experience: One year of experience performing duties similar to those described above. Equivalency: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered. Cultural competency: Ability to relate and work effectively with people from diverse cultural, economic and ethnic backgrounds. Language: Bilingual skills in Spanish or Somali are desirable.
