Under the direction of a Principal Analyst, CEO - Sustainability, assists the Chief Sustainability Office (CSO) to manage the County's Sustainability Plan. POSITION INFORMATION: Under the general direction of the Executive Director, Racial Equity (UC), assists the CEO in overseeing the County’s Anti-Racism, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative. Analyzes and evaluates County policies, practices, and operations that may systemically prevent African-Americans and people or communities of color from accessing, receiving, or maintaining generally available County services and recommends changes in order to reduce racial stigma, inequality, and implicit bias within the County. Analyzes information and data gathered from County and non-County sources to identify best practices related anti-racism, diversity, and inclusion, and to make recommendations for the implementation of anti-racism initiatives in the County. VACANCY INFORMATION The eligible register for this examination will be used to fill temporary vacancies in the Department of Mental Health. SPECIAL INFORMATION All County workforce members must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
